Don Azevedo, Ph.D.Dr. Azevedo received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 1987. He left graduate school with a strong desire to strengthen marriages and families. Dr. Azevedo worked as a clinician for twelve years in a variety of locations from war zones, to hospitals, to private practice. In 2000, he accepted a challenge to enter the corporate world to find another way to apply psychological thought to the human condition. As both an internal and external consultant, he provided leadership workshops and coaching to executives in several multinational corporations. Those years immersed in the business world solidified his beliefs about family systems and how they ripple out into our communities. After three years, his passion for helping families has drawn him back to the work of his heart. He balances a practice in marital, family, adult and teen therapy with executive coaching and corporate education. Dr. Azevedo is a certified PAIRS Master Teacher, Mentor and Professional Trainer. Dr. Azevedo has returned to private practice as both a clinician and the Director of 3-C Family Services. |
